The family behind Ulaya Villas
Our story
We are an adventurous Dutch family with a deep love for travel, Bali, and creating meaningful places. Over the years, we returned to Indonesia many times, and each visit strengthened our connection to the island and its unique way of life.
In 2024, we came back to Bali with our two daughters and instantly fell in love all over again. The island’s creativity, craftsmanship, and natural beauty inspired us to create a place not only for ourselves, but also for others who seek the same sense of comfort, joy, and connection.
Designed for families
Ulaya Villas was built from the ground up with great care and attention to detail. We carefully selected all materials and custom-designed the furniture, handmade by skilled Balinese artisans. While aesthetics were important to us, creating a comfortable and safe environment was always a priority. Especially as a family with young children.
The villa can be made kids-proof with optional child-safe amenities, allowing families to stay with peace of mind while enjoying a refined and relaxed atmosphere.
